Meet Elliot B. Black III, MD

Dr. Elliott B. Black, III, MD, is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. He has been in practice since 1978. A graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, Dr. Black did his Internship at Hermann Hospital at the University of Texas. He did he residency in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at LSU Medical Center. His medical mission is to provide the highest standards of care with the best interest of the patient in mind.

Besides his private practice, Dr. Elliott Black is also a Clinical Professor in Plastic Surgery at LSU Medical School in New Orleans. Dr. Black is a member of the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Louisiana Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the James Rives Surgical Society.

Dr. Black has been a recipient of the New Orleans Top Doctors Award on multiple occasions. He has also received the Residents' Outstanding Teaching Award and the Charitas Award. He has given his time and medical knowledge in helping patients in Mexico, Brazil and Ecuador.
